What a fantastic evening we had for our Executive/ Headliner Christmas party on December 3rd at the Sterling Club.  With a turnout of 60 plus people, it was a perfect Holiday afternoon party.  It’s rare to get busy people together in one room for a relaxing afternoon of cocktails and catching up with friends who haven’t seen each other in ages.  We heard a lot of “I’ve been trying to get hold of you!” and lots of hugs and of course, air kisses…..what entertainment party would be complete with out them?  What with today, you can’t be too careful giving out an actual contact kiss J

Many people made new friends and contacts and there were a lot of laughs and cards exchanged.

Anita Mann, who attended with a family member, looked absolutely beautiful and was kind enough to fly in early to make the event.  Anita’s show FANTASY continues to wow the fellas at THE LUXOR and her dancers added the showgirl power we all love to have at Las Vegas festivities! Thanks beauties!  Lovely and talented singer Katie Dix from American Superstars dropped in as well. Welcome Katie!

The uber talented Jersey Boys were looking great and have become our mascots, they are always so kind and gracious when it comes to our events.  The blue Men group also graced us and it was so fun to hear about their show and see the men under the Blue make-up (The Blue Men were recently featured with Deepak Chopra on a national televised event in facilitating world change, no wonder they are so popular!)

Anthony Cools was looking handsome and was as funny as always, escorted by his statuesque stage assistant, Ashley, who is always a joy with that megawatt smile of hers.  Rita Rudner made a rare appearance with her husband Martin Bergman, and we hope she will now become a regular.

We had a few of the members from the cast of “Chippendales” and they were easy on the eyes to say the least!  Skye Miles from “Menopause the Musical” sang like nobodies business to the fabulous tickling of the ivories of Joey Singer, arguably one of the very best musicians in this entire country. Thank you Joey, for adding so much of everything to our party with your incredible talent.

Trish McCrone, and Alicia Jacobs both looked stunning and added glamour, laughter and energy to the room.  I rarely get to see Alicia with her schedule so full all the time so thank you for high tailing it over right after your show taping.
Adam Steck from SPI Entertainment, Nehme Abouzeid from The VENETIAN were pow-wow-ing at the bar and  appeared to be having a great time.

Louie Anderson stopped by for a brief visit and was as funny as he always is.

Clint Holmes and his beautiful wife Kelly Clinton are an absolute delight and Clint will be performing his wonderful show in just a few weeks at the Gold Coast, if you haven’t seen Clint perform, he is terrific.  His wife Kelly joins the cast of NUNSENSE at the Hilton in the Shimmer Room, which we will be sure to see.  Nancy Gregory who directed and choreographed Nunsense was also in attendance.  Good to meet you, Nancy!

The handsome Blair Farrington wandered in for the last hour and it was a pleasure meeting him.  With all he has going on, we appreciate him for attending and sharing some good laughs to close the afternoon. You are truly a class act.
The execs from Vegas.com and TIX4tonight came and we were thrilled about that.  You do so much for all of the shows, seeing that the rooms are as full as we can get them during a slow time, so thank you and welcome to the Showbiz party family!  We can’t do it without you!

We welcomed agent, Jaki Baskow, as well as PR whiz Penny Levin to the event as well!

And of course, on behalf of your Hosts, Marc Savard (and his beautiful wife Joanna) Andy Walmsley, and myself, Catherine Hickland (and my handsome Todd Fisher)  we wish you the most glorious of Holiday Seasons, and Abundance beyond measure for the upcoming New Year. Things are going to be great for 2011 here in Fabulous Las Vegas.  Remember that every setback is a set up for a comeback, and we are all ready for it!  See it with us, and we will see you at the next party in March 2011!
