Marc Savard, Andy Walmsley and Yours Truly hosted our Holiday SHOW BIZ PARTY on December  8th and no doubt, this was the most fun party we’ve had yet.

The Royal House (99 Convention Center Drive) graciously opened their doors to us and what an incredible gem this boutique Hotel has turned out to be!  If you have not checked it out yet, you must go, and make sure you eat at Barrymore’s to the left of the lobby,. The food is incredible, and it’s also stellar place to have a meal/meeting. The Royal Bar, a large part of the magnificently redone lobby, could not have been more perfect for quite the gathering of  some of the most fun people in Las Vegas. As a Soap actress, I can tell you that lighting is everything, and the lighting in the Royal bar is gorgeous.  Everybody had their game on! We had over one hundred and fifty people come out to meet, greet, love on, dish, drink and be merry.  Robin Leach was one of the first to arrive on the scene and was in great spirits. I’m always so happy to see Robin, he has been a great friend for a long time and we all appreciate his support of the showbiz community here in Las Vegas. Never mind that he always has the best dish, but don’t ask, because I’ll never tell what we talk about ;)

It’s always great to see Jeff McBride and the Wonderground Players. I love what he does and what he brings and contributes to elevate the art and inspire the world of magic.

Chris Phillips, of Zowie Bowie is so fun, so talented, so cute, so tan! Blonde hair, blonde teeth, that boy is hilarious and talented!

My Bestie in Las Vegas Trish McCrone was gorgeous (as usual) and is a hit with everyone, she really is the life of any party, I mean that girl brings it.  Her partner in crime, and radio show co-host, wonder writer Johnny Kats (The Kats Report) also came to regale us with his quick wit and general all around just-plain-fun-to-be-around personality.  I loved seeing Alicia Jacobs, who looked absolutely fantastic.  What party would be a party without my favorite girls and incredible dancers, Jacky Pagone, Summer, and Dori Bonilla?  These beauties were decked out and high-heeled up! Good girls to the core, those three. Summer was accompanied by her hilarious beau, comedian  Hal Sparks, and it was such a joy to see two people so happy together.

The absolutely always adorable Frank Marino (Divas Las Vegas) and his partner Alex stayed to the bitter end with Marc and me, we really know how to close a joint! I was telling Frank how homesick I was while in New York taping the final shows of “One Life To Live” and how seeing him on “Millionaire Match Maker” in my hotel room made me feel more connected to Las Vegas, the best city I’ve ever lived in.

It’s always fun great seeing Producer Nancy Gregory and her fab cast of Nunsense.
Kevin Burke of  “Defending the Caveman,” is a busy man, having two different shows in town, his other show, “Fitz of Laughter” in which he performs his very own brand of Mentalism and comedy is downtown at The Fitz, and, I love this, the show starts at 9:13.  This show is on my January to-see list.

Cast members of Absinthe (one of Marc’s very favorite shows) added even more life to the party. Though I have not yet had the opportunity to see this acclaimed show, I am excited they have come back and extended their run so I can experience the thrill everyone has told me about!

Looking across the room I spotted Joe Barbara, a friend of mine from New York when we were both starring in Broadway Shows (me in “Les Miz” and he in “Grease”
We were also both on Soaps (Another World and ONE LIFE TO LIVE) and hadn’t seen each other in a long time until I moved to Las Vegas. He is now in Jersey Boys” and I am just thrilled to be reconnected with he and his wife. Good to see you Joe!

Wow, this could go on and on, as there were more people than I can remember at this writing, but let me give it a whirl…

Seth Yudoff, Mateo Amieva, from BELIEVE, Natacha Soraya and Tara Palsha of Vegas The Show, Those talented guys of Jersey Boys, Murray Saw Chuck and Recycled Percussion and “Americas Got Talent”
Tropicana exec Tom Recine, Skye Dee Miles (Oh that voice!) Matt and Angela Stabile producers of “X Burlesque,” Doug Elfman, Penny Wiggins (Psychic Tanya) from “The Amazing Jonathan Show”
Stephanie Sanchez, Mecca Madison (Matt Goss Show) Melinda Fator, Tanya Popovich, and Joaquin Ayala, Lisa Cannon of Raak and Roll, Super Stage Manager Ron Guarnieri, Karin Lawson, Jeff Civillico of the Nathan Burton Show, the magical Mistie Knight  BriAnna Gentuso, magician Steven Lee August, and Brian Thomas.

Phew!  If my memory failed me, forgive me, I’m just one woman, and blame it on end-of-summer-tour burnout.

On behalf of Marc, Andy, and Myself, thank you all for coming out, and for those of you who could not make it or did not hear about the party in advance, For the love of God, please Go to http://www.showbizparty.com and sign up for our future parties.  It’s our mission to bring the showbiz community together to build friendships and let our hair down.
